Ventana Vineyards : Wine Bottle Label Design
After winning numerous awards for taste and quality, Ventana Vineyards determined their branding needed to better reflect the prestige and personality of their wines. Full Steam conducted packaging and image research before formulating the new design direction: contemporary with European overtones. An heraldic crest with symbolism depicting family heritage was created and combined with a rich, old world color palette, distinctive typography and textural cream-on-cream label stock. The incorporation of a custom-designed seal brought credence to the owner’s leadership in the viticulture industry. The new labeling captures the essence of the brand and its distinct personality of refined elegance, and its upscale look supported Ventana’s decision to raise the price of its wines.
