Salinas, California – Jan 14, 2008

January 14, 2008 – Salinas, Calif. – The California Department of Fire, Monterey-San Benito Unit (BEU), has launched a website that will help keep firefighters up-to-date on training and the latest firefighting techniques.

Thanks to a content management system (CMS) developed by Full Steam Marketing & Design in Salinas, Cal Fire officers can maintain the website content themselves, ensuring that firefighters in the field have access to the most current information.

PowerNetTools℠, is a content management system designed for non-technical users. The system allows clients to update their websites easily and instantaneously without the knowledge of HTML.

Cal Fire BEU’s site contains a wealth of material critical to the work of firefighters, including training courses, safety documents and news items. Cal Fire personnel need to be able to update content quickly and easily. PowerNetTools℠ makes that possible.

“The magic of creating your website is made easy by the use of the PowerNetTools℠,” said Cal Fire Reno DiTullio, Jr., battalion chief in charge of training, Cal Fire BEU. “The training was simple, making the upkeep and maintenance of my website very easy.”

Using PowerNetTools℠, non-technical employees can update copy, upload photos or add new categories of information to the website. The system saves time and expense by eliminating the need to hire a web designer or IT professional to make routine changes.
PowerNetTools℠ allows unlimited web changes that appear immediately, enabling maximum flexibility and convenience.
