City of Salinas Economic Development Pocket Folder and Sales Sheets
In order to support its charter to promote retail growth, recruitment of new industry, and retention and expansion of existing industry, the City of Salinas Economic Development Department was looking for a tool to help tell its story and attract new business to the area.
To achieve higher impact and maximum visual appeal, Monterey Bay advertising agency Full Steam Marketing & Design designed the folder and sell sheets in landscape format with cascading sell sheets. The natural beauty and cultural diversity of the area is depicted through vibrant photography and the rich cyan and green color palette featured in the Economic Development Department logo, also created by Full Steam. The logo colors were blended into a gradient that captures the juxtaposition of the ocean and the verdant green of the mountains and agricultural lands.
