The role of the Agricultural Commissioner is to provide the community with a safe and healthy environment, a vibrant agricultural industry, and a fair marketplace through the implementation of federal, state and local legislation.
The Monterey Agricultural Commissioner’s Office was looking for a way to re-engage with its constituents through a revitalized Web presence. The primary objective of the new website was to showcase the multitude of agricultural riches the County has to offer while providing a dynamic forum for publishing up-to-the-minute information on key programs and issues facing the County.
The Ag Commissioner’s website was one of the most collaborative projects Full Steam has worked on. It involved the entire department providing their own verbal and visual interpretation of the new site. From this broad spectrum of input, Full Steam was able to extract the essence of what the department was looking for. The Ag Commissioner’s team was unanimous in acknowledging that Full Steam had captured its vision.
The vibrant photography and rich color palette representing the attributes of Monterey County provide a natural and clean backdrop for the critical data and information that needs to be imparted to the community. The Ag Commissioner’s team is also taking full advantage of the comprehensive content management capabilities provided by Full Steam’s PowerNetTools. Team representatives are able to instantly add pages, post news updates, update photos and content, and upload new documents and resources as they become available.
