Monterey County Crop Report 2010
The Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office is dedicated to promoting and protecting agriculture, the economy, community, environment, and the health and safety of the county’s citizens through education and the enforcement of laws and regulations.
The county’s annual Crop Report provides the public with data reflecting the state of the agricultural industry. Encapsulating detailed crop data and market trends, the Crop Report is an important indicator of the economic health of Monterey County.
Tasked with the directive of communicating innovation, technology and process enhancements through the design of the Crop Report, Salinas-based Full Steam Marketing & Design leveraged photography and design elements from the Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office website, also created by Full Steam. The Crop Report cover features rich photography, vibrant color and subtle textural effects comprised of field shots blended with technology to convey transparency of information. The Crop Report interior presents the data in a clean, crisp format with attention-grabbing informational callouts to break up the statistics.
