River Ranch Commodity Wrap Design
Salinas-based River Ranch Fresh Foods, a leading producer of fresh cut salads and field fresh commodity vegetables, wanted to place a renewed emphasis on its commodity line and family-size club store products through a simpler, more classic package design.
Determining that the River Ranch logo would assume a central role in the redesigned commodity wraps, Salinas-based Full Steam Marketing & Design placed its initial focus on simplifying the characteristics of the logo. Leveraging the existing type style from the easily identifiable River Ranch corporate logo, Full Steam combined it with a friendly, wood cut-style farm scene to create a 2-color execution evoking timeless values of craftsmanship and pride.
In addition to the re-crafted logo, the commodity wraps feature an elegant wraparound band, color coded by product family and used as a backdrop for the commodity name.
