River Ranch Logo Design
With an existing family of diverse logo treatments, Salinas-based River Ranch Fresh Foods was looking to streamline and simplify the River Ranch logo, and return to a more classic, uniform look and feel that could be applied across multiple product lines.
Since the River Ranch corporate logo type treatment was easy to read and easily identifiable, the objective was to maintain the existing corporate logo while developing a supporting visual element that would complement the type and convey the River Ranch story.
Full Steam was able to maintain the integrity of the corporate logo type while combining it with a classic wood cut style illustration. Featuring a scene comprised of a ranch house, a connecting river, the surrounding farmland, and a water wheel invoking the flow of the river and the activity in the ranch house, the image adds significant meaning to the logo.
Executed in two colors for ease of implementation, the logo was created in a stacked format for use on retail packaging and a horizontal format for commodity packaging.
