National Steinbeck Center General Information Brochure
The National Steinbeck Center, located in Salinas, California, is a museum and cultural center dedicated to the life of Salinas-born author John Steinbeck.
The purpose of the general information brochure is to provide a concise and visually compelling snapshot of Steinbeck Center events, programs and exhibits. Salinas-based Full Steam Marketing and Design based its design on the rich, contemporary color scheme introduced in the Steinbeck Center website redesign, also created by Full Steam Marketing & Design. Bright, primary colors are used to highlight the Center’s “action” words against the black background, and the Center’s extensive and diverse activities are captured in a variety of colorful collages.
The General Information brochure is primarily distributed via the State of California’s literature rack system, and the design also took this into account. The brochure title and Steinbeck Center logo is positioned at the top of the brochure for premium visibility, and the vivid logo colors and white lettering stand out against the black background.
