Fullsteam Acquires Appointment-Booking Software Launch27

Fullsteam, a private equity holding company acquiring software and payments businesses, announced today the acquisition of Launch27, a leader in appointment-booking software for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Launch27 software works for almost any appointment-based service business including Maid Service, Moving Companies, Lawn Care, Carpet Cleaning and Automobile Care. The web-based platform enables merchants to easily embed a flexible appointment scheduling tool into their company’s website. This feature allows Launch27 clients to offer 24/7 appointment scheduling, a feature most small businesses typically can’t provide.

Launch27’s offering provides the ability to schedule one-time and recurring appointments and also provides businesses with the ability to collect payments for scheduled services. To reduce abandoned appointments and last-minute cancellations, the software automatically sends appointment reminders to clients via email and text messages, and it also supports referrals, discount codes and the use of gift cards.

“We’re very excited to add Launch27 to the Fullsteam family of companies,” said Fullsteam CEO Michael A. Lawler. “Appointment scheduling is an integral part of all service-based businesses, and Launch27 strikes a perfect balance between robust and feature-rich while also remaining user-friendly and simple to use.”

Born from the experience he gained by starting and running his own cleaning business, founder Rohan Gilkes designed Launch27 to make online appointment booking fast, simple and always available. Founded in 2013, Launch27 has quickly become a leader in appointment-booking software, and today the system supports nearly 1,000 small- and medium-sized businesses.
