Fullsteam Acquires Sports League Management Software TopScore

Fullsteam, a holding company acquiring software and payments businesses, announced today the acquisition TopScore, a sports league and event management software solution. TopScore is Fullsteam’s first acquisition in the sports league management industry.

TopScore provides sports leagues of all types with participant and team registration tools, event management, content management for creating and maintaining league and event websites, data and content sharing across multiple organizations, and secure e-commerce payment processing for league dues and event registration fees. TopScore’s unique Network Ecosystem allows all players, teams and events to be shared globally on the platform, enabling users to log in with a single username and password on any TopScore site.

“We’re thrilled to welcome TopScore to the Fullsteam family of companies,” said Fullsteam CEO Michael A. Lawler. “The team at TopScore has a passion for sports league management, and that passion is displayed through not only their software but the service and support they provide to all of their customers.”

Among its hundreds of sports league clients, TopScore serves the U.S. national associations of rugby and ultimate. As part of the acquisition, TopScore CEO Liam Rosen will remain with the company and continue to oversee day-to-day operations.

“Coming from sports backgrounds ourselves, we’ve achieved success by running TopScore like a tight-knit sports team,” Rosen said. “Just like any team, we recognize when we need a strong outside partner in order to bring our performance to the next level. Fullsteam was immediately attractive to us because they filled some areas of need while championing our unique company culture of transparency, equanimity, and flexibility.”
