Fullsteam Acquires Restaurant Delivery Service Software DataDreamers
Fullsteam, a holding company acquiring software and payments businesses, announced today the acquisition of DataDreamers, a market-leading software platform for Restaurant Delivery Services (RDS). DataDreamers is Fullsteam’s first acquisition in the RDS industry.
Designed to be convenient for consumers and efficient for business owners, DataDreamers software is built around the industry’s best driver-dispatch system. Millions of data points are calculated every time an order is placed to ensure the right delivery driver is sent to the right restaurant at the right time.
Founded in 2000 by former delivery driver Ryan Agler, DataDreamers has experienced 30% growth for nearly 20 years. The Chapel Hill, N.C., business has facilitated more than 18 million orders for restaurants in 42 states and today the software is used to power more than 40,000 orders every day.
“DataDreamers is a perfect example of the type of company we’re looking for at Fullsteam,” said Fullsteam CEO Michael A. Lawler. “The software is second-to-none, and it’s a steadily growing company with a loyal customer base.”
Agler, who is also the Principal Developer of the DataDreamers software, will remain with the company and continue to oversee day-to-day operations.
“I couldn’t be happier about DataDreamers becoming part of Fullsteam,” Agler said. “With additional resources from Fullsteam we will be able to serve our customers better through new features, regular product enhancements and first-class product support.”
