Fullsteam Acquires Salon Software Market Leader SalonRunner
Fullsteam, a holding company acquiring software and payments businesses, announced today the acquisition of Floydware LLC, creators of SalonRunner, a software platform designed to help manage salons, spas, and related beauty industry businesses. SalonRunner, with its flagship brand Rosy Salon Software, is used by thousands of salons and spas and is Fullsteam’s first acquisition in the beauty industry.
Built specifically for the beauty industry, SalonRunner is a feature-rich, cloud-based software solution for running salons and spas. Born from founder Jim Bower’s frustrations with trying to find a unified software solution to run his salon businesses, SalonRunner includes point-of-sale, appointment scheduling, automated reminders, client booking, inventory management, customer loyalty programs, social media integrations, and an online storefront. Premium add-ons include automated email marketing campaigns, enhanced text messaging options, and image libraries.
“SalonRunner is a great addition to the Fullsteam family,” said Fullsteam CEO Michael A. Lawler. “The beauty industry is an exciting and challenging vertical, and we believe SalonRunner is one of the top providers in this market, and it will be for years to come.”
Since its founding in 2004, the company has grown from 10 salon locations around its Chicago headquarters to supporting thousands of businesses spanning the globe. As part of the acquisition, current SalonRunner executives Jim Westmaas (Chief Operating Officer) and Ron Guarisco (Chief Technology Officer) will remain with the company to run day-to-day operations.
“We are extremely excited to begin a new future for SalonRunner and Rosy Salon Software with Fullsteam,” said SalonRunner’s Jim Westmaas. “This acquisition will accelerate our plans to expand our product offerings, deepen our world-class customer service, and continue our quest as the premier salon and spa software solution in the beauty industry.”
