Fullsteam Acquires The Uniform Solution software

Fullsteam, a holding company acquiring vertically integrated software and payments businesses, announced today the acquisition of Diamond Data Systems, providers of The Uniform Solution software, a business management system designed specifically for uniform retailers.

For almost 30 years, The Uniform Solution has helped make uniform retail business more productive and profitable. The software automates point-of-sale, special order entry, purchase ordering, bar coding, price tag printing, invoicing, contract pricing, physical inventories, and accounts receivable. It also has an integrated WebStore and a Mobile app for the salesfloor.

The Uniform Solution also includes a massive inventory database of more than 300,000 pre-loaded items from the industry’s top brands. For new businesses, The Uniform Solution’s Vendor Catalog saves days or even weeks of work spent manually entering inventory into the system.

“We couldn’t be happier about adding The Uniform Solution to the Fullsteam family,” said Fullsteam CEO Michael A. Lawler. “The company exemplifies everything we’re looking for: market-leading software, a great team with vast industry knowledge and terrific opportunity for growth.”

The company’s headquarters is located outside of Dallas, in nearby Richardson, Texas. The company was founded in 1993 by CEO David Johnson, who also worked as a principle developer on The Uniform Solution. As part of the acquisition, Johnson will remain with the company as a Fullsteam President and continue to lead The Uniform Solution’s day-to-day operations.

“Joining Fullsteam is exactly what we needed,” said Johnson. “Fullsteam’s experienced management team is an outstanding strategic resource and their operations support for HR, accounting, payroll, finance, and legal is invaluable.  There is no question we will be improving what we can deliver to our customers, and we get to focus on what we love to do – innovate!”
